Dear users of our products bearing the brand MS KART,
for the next
homologation period 2006 – 2012 we have prepared for you a new kart chassis,
called MS KART RCA 26
- for the classes without gear box (without front brakes) - RCA 26 A
- for the classes with gear box (with front brakes) RCA 26 C
From this
basic model further modifications may be derived according the clients‘
wishes, such as chassis for karts with left-hand transmission (Billand,
Honda GX, etc.). I feel the necessity to inform that these modifications, in
which the basic frame is changed, don’t have the homologation.
Our new
chassis is completely different from the preceding models:
It has in total 4 stabilisers:
a) front stabiliser
b) side stabiliser
c) rear stabiliser
d) middle stabiliser (transversal – under the seat)
It is equipped with completely new brakes using the latest technology:
a) Self-adjustment of the brake lining clearance
b) Intake of the fluid just from one side, the liquid for the second half
passes through a channel in the body of the brake
c) The brake pads are embedded for security reasons in the brake body, and
secured with a securing bolt. In case brake pads screws are loosen, they
cannot fall out of the brake caliper.
d) The brake disks are of new design, lighter, with increased cooling
effect. The openings are bored directly in the ribs; this prevents the
obstruction of the cooling channels for the venting of the air, and boring
removes more material, and the disks are thus lighter.
e) The brake pumps have a brake fluid reservoir, feeding brake fluid into
the system in case of brake lining wear.
f) There is only one pedal safety cable, with fix end caps.
g) Rear brake is embedded in a special holder made of light alloy directly
on the rear axle bearing holder.
The main
frame of the kart is identical for the classes A and C. For the C class,
only the gear control and front brake assemblies are added.
The main
advantage of this chassis is that we reached with the changed design of the
front axle suspension, rear axle suspension, and changes on the frame a much
better balance of the down force of the rear and front axle.
After all
performed tests and the first races in the Netherlands and the USA there is
a great satisfaction with the new chassis RCA 26, and the obtained times are
faster than with the existing chassis RC 23 and RA 23.

HOMOLOGATION PROCEDURE
On 24
November 2005 homologation inspection of the new models of chassis and
brakes was performed in our company for the period 2006 – 2012. Our company
was the first manufacturer in this homologation year, where the inspection
was performed. This inspection was performed by the CIK-FIA delegate, Mr.
Gunter, and the SN delegate, Mr. Bárta. The completely new chassis of type
MS KART RCA 26, and a completely new brake system in two versions were
presented for homologation:
a) for brakes on both front and rear axle
b) for brakes only on rear axle.
The components of the brakes are the same and marked by both homologation
numbers 18/FR/11 and 17/FR/11, so that they are interchangeable with the
possibility of use in both systems.
The
homologation inspection passed without any problem, and the delegate Mr.
Gunter declared admiration for the exemplary preparation and performance of
the homologation inspection.

Now it
remains only to wish to our chassis many victories from international
tracks, and to you much satisfaction with this new model and many beautiful
experiences at the steering wheel of chassis bearing our brand MS KART.

New
selfadjusting rear brake. The brake fluid is passed in the channel of the
brake body. The brake is located in the rear axle bearing carrier by means
of a special aluminium alloy holder.

New
construction of the front axle: now it has a fix brake disc and a new system
of internal cooling

New
brake cylinders with brake fluid bottle. These brake cylinders are made for
the brakes with selfadjusting system.

New
front brake - a revolutionary solution. The pistons take effect from both
sides, the supply of brake fluid is made from the internal side only and it
is passed through a channel inside the brake body to the external side. The
brake is selfadjusting - service-free.
